FICAN holds Roundtable on Economy to show Investment Opportunities in Nigeria

Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-The Finance Correspondents Association of Nigeria (FICAN) Tuesday said its proposed roundtable on the economy will be a pointer to investment opportunities in Nigeria in year 2013.

This is contained in a Press Release by FICAN and made available to www.investadvocateng.com.

“The FICAN Roundtable on Economy will provide investors the opportunity to explore investment opportunities in the country, as well as give entrepreneurs and policy makers opportunity for strategic partnerships, finance and joint venture collaborations that will help grow their businesses and economy,” the FICAN Statement said.

According to FICAN, forum is targeted at having a clear forecast of the economy in 2013 to enable investors have informed decision within the year.

The theme of the roundtable is “Nigerian Economy in 2013: Issues and Expectations” will have as special Guest/Chairman, Prof. Akpan Ekpo, Director-General, West African Financial and Economic Management.

Other speakers are Mr. Bismarck Rewane, Chief Executive Officer, Financial Derivatives Company Limited and Mr. Sewa Wusu who is the Head of Markets, Sterling Capital.

The event, which is the second in a series, will have representatives of real sector of the economy, policy makers, industrialists, financial sector operators, telecommunications, mining, energy, financial markets, infrastructure development experts as well as electronic and print media, among others in attendance.

Other participants include senior business executives from across the country, the international business community from industry, government institutions and strategic investors.

The forum is targeted at having a clear forecast of the economy in 2013 to enable investors have informed decision within the year.

The event comes up will on Friday January 11 2013 at the Sheraton Hotels in Lagos Nigeria and will start by 9.00 am prompt.
