Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)- The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) announced that Nigeria sold N114.89 billion worth of treasury bills of maturities ranging between three (3) month and one year, with yields slightly higher on 91-day and 364-day paper and flat on the 6-month note.
According to the CBN’s data released Thursday, it sold N32.89 billion worth of 91-day paper at 11.6 percent (11.6%) compared to 11.5% at the July 10 auction worth N30 billion of 182-day paper at 12.75%, the same rate as the previous auction.
The CBN said it sold N52 billion in the 1-year bond at 13.33% more than the 13.21% the same tenor was sold on June 26.
