IMF Appoints New Resident Representative in Greece

Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-The International Monetary Fund (IMF) Thursady announced it has appointed  a new resident representative to Greece.

The IMF said Wes McGrew will be replacing Bob Traaa, whose three (3) years assignment ends this month.

According to the IMF, McGrew a US national has been in the IMF since 2004 and has worked in a number of countries including Ecuador, Turkey, the former Yugoslavia Republic of Macedonia and Cyprus.

The IMF affirmed that most recently, he was a seniour member of the Fund working in Greece and before joining the IMF, he held positions at NASADAQ stock market and the US Department of the Treasury.

McGrew who will start his assignment in Greece with effect from September 02, 2013 holds a Doctorate in Economics from the University of Chicago.
