Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)- Secure Electronic Technology Plc has announced the appointment of a new Company Secretary, Immaculata Amaka Mbaso.

This is contained in recent announced by the company to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) in Lagos Nigeria.

Mbaso – A Lawyer, graduated from the Lagos State University (LLB) in 2003 before being called to the bar in 2005 after attending Nigerian Law School.

In September 2006, she received a Certificate in European Computer Driving License (ECDL) while in 2009 she obtained her Masters (LLM) in International Information Technology Law from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, Scotland, United Kingdom.

Working Career: Mbaso began her working career as a Customer Advisor/Cashier with Marks and Spenser Plc, Aberdeen, UK where she was from May 2008 – January 2009. Moving down to Nigeria, she joined Ekene Odum & Co., a top Law firm in Lagos, Nigeria and was there between August 2009 and April 2010.

Mbaso relocating back to the United Kingdom and joined Adel Jibs & Co Solicitors, Enfield UK as a Case Worker in August, 2010 and in 2011, as a Solicitor, she became charge of own clientele and caseload. In March 2012, she moved to Gateway Assessor, Citizens Advice Bureau, Barnet UK.

She has attended many formal training both in the area of confidentiality awareness, negotiating in employment claims, the law & practice of unfair dismissal and many others. She has also worked as a voluntary worker in area of Cancer Research and Charity. She is a member of Nigerian Bar Association, Law Society of English, Wales and other associations.

She was the Legal Consultant with Ekene Odum & Co. Lagos prior to this appointment.
