Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-The Nigeria’s Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Friday announced that one Dr. David Torty and TMA Consulting Group is illegal operator in the Nigerian capital market (NCM).

 In its official website, SEC said David Torty and TMA Consulting are not registered by the Commission to carry out any capital market activity.

‘’The illegal operator who has his address at Plot 177, MCC/Uratta Road, Opposite Imo State Housing Corporation, Owerri, Imo State has been carrying on capital market activities illegally, through TMA Consulting Group,’’ SEC said.

The Commission therefore warns the general public not to transact any capital market business with the said David Torty.

‘’Investors wishing to invest in the capital market are hereby advised to transact through operators registered with the Securities & Exchange Commission’’ the Commission affirmed.
