Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Vitafoam Nigeria Plc Tuesday reported a dip of -18.2 percent (-18.2%) in its post tax profit for the period ended September 30 2013.
From the audited report of the company released to the Nigerian stock exchange (NSE) and made available to InvestAdvocate in Lagos Nigeria, the company posted N410.313 million in the review period of 2013 compared with N501.594 million recorded in the same period of 2012; indicating a dip of -18.2%.
Similarly, pre tax profit also plunged by -22.5% in the 2013 audited reported of the company, Vitafoam Nigeria declared N629.785 million in its 2013 end compared with N812.729 million in the corresponding period of 2012.
However, revenue for the period appreciated from N14.479 billion in 2012 to N16.338 billion in the review period of 2013; showing a growth in revenue of 12.8%.
