NAHCO Post-Tax Profit Up 28%, Offers 30 Kobo Dividend

Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-The Nigerian Aviation Handing Company (NAHCO Aviance) Friday announced an increase of 28 percent (28%) in its post-tax profit as the company recorded N759.608 million in 2013 audited year end compared to N593.237 million in 2012.

Similarly, pre-tax profit grew from N736.403 million in 2012 end compared to N930.457 million in the review period of 2013; indicating a growth of 26.4%.

NAHCO Aviance announced its revenue went up slightly by 9.4% as the company reported N8.092 billion in the 2013 audited year end compared to N7.396 billion recorded in the corresponding period of 2012.

In the same vein, the company announced a dividend of 30 kobo per share for the year ended December 2013. The 30 kobo per share dividend proposed to shareholders of the company is a 20% increase in dividend declared compared to 25 kobo paid in year 2012 end.

The company said its closure date is 19-23 May, 2014 and annual general meeting (AGM) and payment date of the 30 kobo dividend has been scheduled for June 27, 2014.

At the close of trading Friday at the Nigerian Bourse, the company lost -0.05 kobo as it opened trading at a price of N5.25 kobo and closed at N5.20 kobo.
