Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-FBN Holdings Plc Monday reported that its audited financial statement for the period December 2013 will be delayed till April 15, 2014.

FBN Holdings in a notice to the Nigerian stock exchange (NSE) said the delay is due to some challenges experienced in finalising the accounts of its newly acquired West African subsidiaries which has delayed the conclusion of the Group audit.

‘’In view of the foregoing, FBN Holdings Plc will be submitting its audited financial statements for the period December 2013, by April 15, 2014. This is to enable the completion of the statutory review of the accounts of First Bank of Nigeria Limited and FBN Holdings Plc by the central bank of Nigeria (CBN),’’ the notice said.
