Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Zenith Bank Plc Thursday announced the appointment of Olusola Oladipo as an executive director (ED) of the bank.

The bank in a letter dated April 24, 2014 and signed by Michael Osilama Otu, its company secretary said the information is in compliance to the code of corporate governance for banks in Nigeria by the central bank of Nigeria (CBN).

According to Zenith Bank, Oladipo prior to his new appointment was a general manager (GM) and the group zonal head in charge of the Apapa zone of the bank.

The bank said Oladipo joined its services in 1995, having previously worked in First City Monument Bank and Prime Merchant Bank Limited respectively.

Zenith Bank says Oladipo is a fellow of the institute of chartered accounts of Nigeria (ICAN), chartered institute of stockbrokers of Nigeria (CISN) and chartered institute of taxation of Nigeria (CITN).

The bank affirmed that its board of director approved the appointment of Oladipo as ED with effect from March 31, 2014.
