International Finance Magazine has ranked Dunn Loren Merrifield as the best investment bank in the country in its 2014 financial awards.

A statement by the editorial board of the IFM said the Best Investment Bank in Nigeria category, which was won by DLM, was among the first batch of 14 global recipients announced for award.

DLM emerged winner in the category after a rigorous panel screening and overwhelming voting support from the IFM readers worldwide.

A statement by the DLM quoted the founder, Mr. Sonnie Ayere, as saying, “This is an increasing recognition of the work our firm is doing in the development of our financial sector.”

Ayere said the firm would continue to strive for excellence by continuing to introduce innovative products and models that will positively impact the development of the financial and capital markets in the country.

DLM commenced operation in 2009 and was the firm to structure the first “AAA” rated corporate bond listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
