Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede Elected NSE’s President of Council

Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)- Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede former banker and group chief executive officer (GCEO) of Access Bank Plc on Wednesday was announced as the newly elected President of the National Council of the Nigerian Stock exchange (NSE).

This is coming on the heels of the 53rd annual general meeting (AGM) of the NSE held at the Event Centre, Stock Exchange House, in Lagos Nigeria.

Abimbola Ogunbanjo and A. B Mahmoud, were elected as first and second Vice Presidents respectively to the National Council of the Nigeria’s Exchange.

Other members elected to the NSE’s National Council include: Muhammad Daggash, Finmal Finance Services Limited (represented by  Umaru Kwairanga), Greenwich Securities Limited (represented by  Kayode Falowo), ICMG Securities Limited  ( Michael Osime), Meristem Securities Limited (represented by Oluwole Abegunde) Sigma Securities Limited (represented by  Dunama Balami), and Signet Investment and Securities Limited (represented by  Oladipo Aina) as members of the National Council.

The members also fixed their remuneration and authorised the National Council to fix that of the Auditors.

Also, the NSE presented at the AGM as part of its ordinary business the report of the National Council, its Financial Statements as at 31 December 2013, and the Report of the Auditors.
