Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Afrinvest Securities Ltd, a subsidiary of Afrinvest West Africa Ltd said it has launched a new online trading portal, AFRINVESTOR.COM, according to a report by Proshare.

The report said the new online trading platform AFRINVESTOR.COM is designed to empower the brokerage clients of the dealing firm to take control of their investments while sound investment advice and professional guidance represents part of the key factors the portal is built around.

In the same vein, the trading platform affords both existing and potential clients access to best-in-class trading opportunities and support services based on global standards.

The report affirmed the online trading services is premised on three (3) key things; which include trading tools designed to help investors make more informed investment decisions.

Also, the service offers education based on ccomprehensive resource, market insight and research that will help clients develop their trading skills and strategy.

The third is expert market commentary and in-depth market research.

“Investors can start trading after necessary documentation now with no minimum account opening balance required,” Proshare reported.

Prior to this time, the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) announced its celebrating a successful year following the launch of its X-Gen – the next generation trading platform; as more brokerage firms continue to hit the market with their online trading portal as innovations subsist.

“The X-Gen represents the game-changer due to the inventive trading capabilities and enormous benefits it has brought to the Nigerian Stock Market, and this has brought to lime light the innovations we witness today,” the Proshare report said.

Other capital market firms that have launched an online trading platform include Meristem Securities Ltd, Morgan Capital, Lead Capital, UBA Capital and Capital Bancorp.
