Investment One Unveils EasyTrade Online Platform

Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)- INVESTMENT One Stockbrokers International Limited, a subsidiary of Investment One Financial Services Limited on Friday launched its new ‘EasyTrade’ online trading platform that enables its users buy and sell stocks on the Nigeria Stock Exchange (NSE) with real-time processing functionality.

At the launch of the trading platform, Chidiogo Ezejiofor,  managing director (MD) of the company said the EasyTrade online trading platform would provide investors real time market data (including real time prices of stocks), with the availability of various technical indicators to analyse at all-time the trend and momentum of activities at the Nigerian bourse.

Similarly, the platform would enable clients make informed decisions based on the latest data. ‘’It combines world-class technology with a robust client data protection and security framework in order to give our clients a seamless experience when processing transactions. In addition, we will provide access to in-depth market insight through our research materials to enable our clients make informed investment decisions,’’ she said.

According to Ezejiofor, another advantage for investors who key into this platform is that it would enable them manage their stockbroking portfolios on mobile devices, tablets, laptops and desktop computers.

She affirmed that the 24/7 connectivity to the portfolio is complemented by access to Investment One’s online customer support (through online chat functionality), so that clients can talk directly to the customer service team who will manage their enquiries.

The MD of Investment One Stockbrokers further affirmed that the EasyTrade would provide customers two options, which include a direct market access to the NSE’s trading engine which is best suited for savvy investors or to allow clients go through the Investment One in-house Order Management System before reaching the Nigerian bourse trading engine, ‘’this option is best suited to users who still want a broker to complete their transactions,’’ she added.

On her part, Abimbola Afolabi-Ajayi, executive director, Investment One Financial Services Ltd., disclosed the new onlne trading platform unveiled by its Stockbroking arm was part of the company’s corporate social responsibility to boost investors participation in the market.
