Abuja (INVESTADVOCATE)-Nigeria’s Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) will on Thursday commence a two-day workshop for journalists tagged SEC’s Journalists Academy 2014.

SEC says the theme of this year’s workshop is ‘’Personal Finance’’. ‘’The workshop is part of the Commission’s capital market development strategies aimed at sharpening newsmen understanding and reporting of the capital market in particular and the economy in general,’’ the Nigeria securities regulator affirmed.

According to SEC, the Academy which will be rounded off on Friday 21 November 2014 will be facilitated by experts in capital market, journalism and economics.

Venue of the two-day workshop is the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.
