Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Soap makers Unilever Nigeria Plc on Tuesday named Adesola Sotande-Peters as new finance director of the company.

The company in an issuers’ announcement to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) said Sotande-Peters appointed took effect from January 01, 2014.

Unilever said Sotande-Peters had her college education at Friends School, Saffron Walden, Essex (1991-1992) passing out with ‘A’ Levels Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, General Studies. From 1992-1995 she was at The American International University in London, graduating with a BA Business Administration & Economics, Grade Point Average 3.0.

In 2000, she became a member, Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, A.C.C.A. Member. (First Time Passes) and in 2006 she became a fellow, Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, A.C.C.A. Mrs Sotande-Peters became a member, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) in 2007 and in 2008 she obtained MBA for Finance Professionals from Manchester Business School, Manchester, United Kingdom.
