Credit Direct Limited, a subsidiary of First City Monument Bank Plc, says it has introduced mobile offices to improve productivity.
The move, it said, would ensure prompt access to non-collateral loans for its teaming customers across the country.
The Managing Director, Mr. Akinwande Ademosu, who noted this was in response to the customers’ demands, said development would bring its services closer to businesses and individuals.
He added that the focus of the company was to provide financial cover for businesses that were not being served by the financial industry.
He said, “Our objective is to be the fastest organisation in Nigeria that provides loans to our customers; and our focus has been on the people that financial industry has not really serviced.
“This view was achieved through the deployment of direct sales programme to identify the needs of customers, which were eventually targeted at bridging the gap in the busy schedules of concerned customers by taking the office to them.”
He said four mobile offices would be deployed to the four cardinal zones of the country.
“One thing that is certain is that we are going to have one in Lagos. We have the country divided into four regions. The future is in mobility and this is e-office for us,” he said.
The vehicles, which according to the managing director will not carry cash other than workers, will be made available at strategic positions and safe environment across the country.
Akinwande reiterated that prospective customers for its unsecured loans would not need to provide collateral nor have accounts with the company to enjoy its services.
He said, “To access our loans, you don’t need to open an account because we are not an account opening organisation. You don’t need to bring your salary account, deposits, guarantors nor collaterals. This is because we have put a structure in place to simplify the process of getting our loans within a day. Just come with a business and an investment plan.”
