NSE to Amend Rules on Dealing Members, Filing of Accounts, Free Float, 2 Others

Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) said on Thursday it’s seeking to amend rules and regulations governing dealing members and their registration, filing of accounts and treatment of default filings, rules governing free float requirements and amendments to guidelines for designated advisers for entities listed on the Alternative Securities market (ASeM).

The notice signed by Tinuade Awe, head, legal and regulations division at the NSE says it’s seeking comments by stakeholders on the above draft rules and guidelines.

“We will be grateful to receive your comments not later than the close of bu?siness on Thursday, 12 March 2015. Please note that your comments should be sent in a WORD document attached to an electronic mail to Mr. Oluwatoyin Adenugba of the Rules and Interpretation Department of The Exchange at oadenugba@nse.com.ng,’’ she added.
