Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)- Lafarge Africa Plc, the Nigerian arm of world biggest cement firm, Lafarge said on Friday it has appointed Mobolaji Balogun as its new chairman following the voluntary retirement of Olusegun Osunkeye with effect from May 23, 2015.
The company in an issuer’s announcement with the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) said the decision to appoint Balogun new chairman of the company came after the board of the company met on March 11.
Balogun’s appointed is effective May 23, 2015 the day Osunkeye exits the company on voluntary retirement.
Similarly, the company announced the resignation of Fred Amobi as a director and in the same vein appointed four (4) new directors.
They are Shamsuddeen Usman, Elenda Osima-Dokubo, Adenike Ogunlesi and Umaru Kwairanga
