The website of the Independent National Electoral Commission has been hacked.

The website was taken over at some moment after 11 a.m.

INEC made this known through its Twitter account, @INEC_Nigeria. It said it has begun investigation into it.

?“We are aware of the recent hack of our @inecnigeria website, we are currently investigating this incident
#NigeriaDecides,” the organisation tweeted.
