UBA Says Apollos Ikpobe Resigns from Board

Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Nigeria’s top tier lender, United Bank for Africa Plc (UBA) on Wednesday announced the resignation of Apollos Ikpobe from its board.

The bank in an issuer’s announcement with the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) said Ikpobe’s resignation took effect from June 11, 2015.

UBA affirmed that the resignation of Ikpobe, a former deputy managing director of the bank was duly accepted by the board of directors at its meeting of June 15, 2015.

However, share price of the bank declined 0.19 percent at the end of Wednesday’s session on the Nigerian bourse, it opened the session at N5.18 and closed at N5.17; losing 0.01 kobo per share.
