Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc on Monday said its third quarter (Q3) profit after tax (PAT) for the period ended September 30, 2015 inched up 1.30 percent to N9.335 billion from N9.145 billion recorded a year ago.
Similarly, pretax profit grew same margin of 1.30 percent to N14.224 billion from N13.971 billion reported the corresponding period of 2014.
However, revenue of the sugar refiner declined from N73.796 billion in the nine-month period of 2014 to N73.046 billion in the review period of 2015, Dangote Sugar said in a filing with the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).
Shares of the company at the close of trading on the local bourse rose 1.56 percent to N6.49 from N6.39 traded the previous session; gaining 0.10 kobo per share.
