Guinness Nigeria Names Ngozi Oluwatoyin Edozien Non-Executive Director, Yvonne Ike Resigns

Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Brewer, Guinness Nigeria Plc said on Tuesday it has appointed Ngozi Olwatoyin Edozien as non-executive director of the company following the approval of its board at a meeting held Thursday November 26, 2015.

Also, the board of Guinness Nigeria accepted the resignation of Yvonne Ike as non-ED of the company with immediate effect.

Guinness says Edozien is an alumnus of the Prestigious Harvard Business School and Cambridge University. She started her professional career in the investment banking at Solomon Brothers and JP Morgan in 1985.

She later worked at McKinsey & Company, Inc. from 1992 to 1999, primarily in the consumer products and healthcare sector.

She is a consummate private equity, business development and strategic planning professional with global leadership expertise spanning over 20 years with experience in finance, private equity, general management and strategy with multinational companies across the globe.

Ngozi has served on the board of Diamond Bank, the American Business Council in Nigeria and Africa Investor Magazine.

Ngozi has served as CEO in several world class organisations including Pfizer Nigeria and Actis Capital.

She currently serves on the board of Mouka Limited, Stanbic-IBTC Bank Plc, UAC, Vlisco, Barloworld, PZ Cussons and Pagatech Limited.

She is also a director of African Leadership Network and Delta State Vision 2020.

With these appointment and resignation, the board of Guinness Nigeria Plc now comprises of the following notables individuals:
