Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Gas Company, BOC Gases Nigeria Plc said Tuesday Johann Van Rooyen, managing director (MD) announced his decision to take up a higher appointment, within the Afrox Group, later in the year.

The company said this is coming on the heels of an emergency board meeting held on January 25, 2016.

“Following this development, the managing director is likely to resign his appointment later in the year, probably in March 2016.

At the same meeting , the results of interviews conducted to appoint a local director were finalised and it was resolved that Oyedele, Oyeniyi Olawale, be invited to join the company’s board at the next board meeting , sometime in March, 2016,” BOC Gases said.
