Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Beer maker, International Breweries Plc said on Friday its profit after tax (PAT) for the period ended December 31, 2015 rose 18 percent to N1.710 billion from N1.449 billion recorded a year earlier.
Similarly, pretax profit climbed up 7.09 percent to N2.245 billion from N2.404 billion posted the same period of 2014.
Revenue of the brewer also increased from N15.313 billion in the Q3 of 2014 to N16.460 billion in the review period of 2015; showing an increase of 7.49 percent, according to International Breweries in a filing with the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).
Shares of the company at the close of Friday’s trading on the Nigerian bourse grew 1.39 percent to N16.00 per share from N15.78 per share recorded the previous session.
