Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)- Cement producer and most capitalised company on the Nigerian bourse, Dangote Cement Plc said on Monday it will release its 2015 audited report and declare dividend tomorrow Tuesday March 1, 2016.
“The Board of Dangote Cement Plc met today, February 29, 2016 and approved the audited financial statement for year 2015 for release to the Nigerian Stock Exchange,” the cement manufacturer said in an issuer’s announcement with the NSE.
Also, the company said recommended dividend will be payable on approval of the shareholders at the Annual General Meeting scheduled for April 19, 2016.
“Financial statements would be filed with the NSE at 8.00 a.m. on March 1, 2016 and a conference call releasing the result held at 4.00 p.m. on March 1, 2016. Press release to be issued March 1, 2016 after results has been filed,” Dangote Cement added.
Shares of the cement company topped the gainers chart at the close of today’s trading on the local bourse, as it increased five (5) percent; opening N135.00 percent and closed N141.75 per share, gaining N6.75 per share.
