Key market indicators, the NSE ASI and market capitalisation, each advanced by 1.09% as the value of building materials giant, Dangote Cement, shares was enhanced by its positive full year 2015 earnings as well as its dividend declaration of 800 Kobo per share.
Gainers & Losers
Dangote Cement revved 4.99% to close at N148.83 apiece while shares of Seplat Petroleum advanced by 0.95% to N352.30 apiece.
Conversely, Forte Oil moderated by 9.75% to close at N308.66 per share, while Lafarge WAPCO tanked by 3.40% to close at N81.65 per share.
