UBA Names Uzoka New GMD, Osadolor Deputy

Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Africa’s global bank, United Bank for Africa Plc (UBA) has appointed Kennedy Uzoka as new group managing director (GMD) following the announcement of the exit of Phillips Oduoza from the post on Tuesday, according to an issuer’s annoucement with the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).

The lender says Uzoka’s appointment will take effect August 1, 2016 following regulatory approval.

In the same vein, UBA announced the appointment of Victor Osadolor as deputy GMD replacing Uzoka.

Shares of UBA appreciated by 3.47 percent as it opened the session at N2.88  per share and closed N2.98 per share; gaining 0.10 kobo.
