(Lagos INVESTADVOCATE)-Sugar refiner, Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc said on Thursday its pretax profit for the period ended December 31, 2015 grew 8.3 percent to N16.55 billion from N15.27 billion recorded a year earlier.

On the flipside, profit after tax (PAT) dipped marginally 0.9 percent to N11.53 billion from N11.64 billion posted the same period of 2014.

Revenue of the company increased from N94.85 billion to N101.06 billion in 2015; indicating an increase of 6.5 percent, Dangote Sugar said in a filing with the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).
