Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Cement producer, Lafarge Africa Plc said on Thursday its pretax profit for the period ended December 31, 2015 went down 27.5 percent to N29.28 billion from N40.36 billion recorded a year earlier.
In the same vein, profit after tax (PAT) dipped 20.2 percent to N27 billion from N33.82 billion posted the same period 2014.
However, revenue of the cement producer, inched up to N267.23 billion from N260.81 billion declared in 2014 end; showing an increase of 2.5 percent, Lafarge Africa said in a filing with the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).
