Nigerian Breweries Says Q1’ 16 Pretax Profit up 7.14%

Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Beermaker, Nigerian Breweries Plc said on Wednesday its pretax profit for the period ended March 31, 2016 climbed up 7.14 percent to N15 billion from N14.43 billion recorded a year earlier.

In the same vein, profit after tax (PAT) grew marginally 3.48 percent to N10.45 billion from N10.10 billion declared the same period of 2015.

Revenue of Nigerian Breweries increased to N77.55 billion from N69.92 billion posted in the first quarter of 2015, the brewer said in a filing with the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).
