Mr. David Lipton, IMF First Deputy Managing Director, today begins a two-day visit to Tehran, Iran.
During his visit, Mr. Lipton will meet with senior Iranian government officials, representatives of the private sector, bankers, academics, university professors and students. His discussions will focus on the IMF’s continuing dialogue with Iran, and Iran’s economic developments and policy initiatives, following the recent lifting of sanctions.
