Cadbury Nigeria Reports N216.4 Million Pretax Profit in H1’16

Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Food & beverage maker, Cadbury Nigeria Plc said on Wednesday it has reported a pretax profit of N216.4 million in the half-year (H1) period ended June 30, 2016  compared to a loss of N250.7 million a year ago.

Also, the beverage producer, declared a profit after tax (PAT) N147.2 million compared to N250.7 million posted the same period of 2015.

Revenue of the company declined 1.55 percent to N13.92 billion compared to N14.14 billion recorded in the H1 period of 2015, Cadbury said in a filing with the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).

Shares of the company at the close of today’s session on the Nigerian bourse depreciated 0.06 percent to N16.09 from N16.10 recorded the previous session, losing 0.01 kobo per share.
