Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)- Transcorp Hotels Plc, the hospitality unit of Nigeria’s top tier conglomerate, Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc on Wednesday said its pretax profit for the period ended June 30, 2016 rose 10.5 percent to N2.74 billion from N2.48 billion a year earlier.
Similarly, profit after tax (PAT) of the company increased 7.45 percent to N1.89 billion in the H1 of 2016 from N1.75 billion posted the same period of 2015.
Revenue of Transcorp Hotels grew from N7.24 billion in the HI period of 2015 to N7.61 billion in the review period of 2016; indicating a growth of 5.05 percent, TRANSCOHOT said in a filing with the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).
