SEPLAT Records N13 Billion Loss in H1’16

Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)- First dual listed Nigerian oil and gas upstream firm, Seplat Petroleum Development Company Plc on Thursday declared a loss after tax of N13 billion in its half-year (H1) period ended June 30, 2016 compared to N8.0 billion recorded a year ago.

Similarly, Seplat reported a loss before tax of N12.2 billion compared to N8.1 billion posted the same period of 2015.

Revenue of the first dual listed Nigerian oil and gas upstream firm declined 41 percent to N29 billion from N49 billion reported the same period of 2015, Seplat said in a filing with the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).
