Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Sugar refiner, Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc said on Thursday its profit after tax (PAT) for the period ended September 30, 2017 appreciated 162.1 percent to N26.5 billion from N10.1 billion posted a year ago.

Profit before tax (PBT) also grew 149.7 percent to N38.2 billion from N15.3 billion declared the corresponding period of 2016.

Revenue of the sugar refiner increased from N115.2 billion in the Q3 of 2016 to N163.0 billion in the review period of 2017, Dangote Sugar said in a filing with the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).
