Market breadth index ended positive as 21 stocks gained against 19 stocks that declined.
SEPLAT (+5.00%) was the market best performer while ETERNA (-9.58%) topped the laggards’ chart.

Sector Performance
· NSE Banking Index: Rose by +0.56% following the gains in UBN (+4.14%), GUARANTY (+0.54%) and ZENITHBANK (+0.55%).
· NSE Consumer Goods Index: Gains in FLOURMILL (+1.65%), UNILEVER (+1.94%), INTBREW (+0.93%) and DANGFLOUR (+2.45%) drove the sector up by +1.56%
· NSE Oil and Gas Index: Closed positive +3.06%, largely driven by the advancement in SEPLAT (+5.00%) and MOBIL (+4.09%).
· NSE Industrial Index: Shed -0.10%, on the back of the loss in WAPCO (-0.24%).
