Market activity: In today’s early trade, total volume and total value increased by c. +60% and c. +188% respectively compared to this time yesterday, as investors have exchanged c. 231million units of shares worth c. N 1.98billion. JAPAULOIL is the most actively traded stock with c.70million units of shares accounting for c.30% of total volume. 

Likely close: In the absence of a significant gain in DANGCEM, the market may print in the red today if the sell-off across most sectors continues.
