Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Dual listed Nigerian oil & gas exploration and production company, Seplat Petroleum Development Company Plc on Friday reported a loss before tax (LBT) of N45.5 billion in its third quarter (Q3) period ended September 30, 2020 compared to a profit before tax (PBT) of N56.7 declared the same period of 2019, indicating a loss of -180.2 percent.
Similarly, the company posted a Loss after tax (LAT) of N33.7 billion compared to a profit after tax (PAT) of N56.6 billion declared in the Q3 of 2019.
In the same vein, revenue of Seplat declined by -10.7 percent to N136 billion from N152 billion posted in the corresponding quarter of 2019.
The oil and gas exploration and production company, declared a dividend of $0.05 per share and says qualification and closure date of shareholders whose names appear on the company’s register is November 13 and 14, 2020 respectively. Seplat says payment date is December 7, 2020.
