Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Soap and detergent producer, Unilever Nigeria Plc on Monday reported a Loss after tax of -N1.6 billion for the third quarter  (Q3) period ended September 30, 2020 compared to a loss after tax of N4.2 billion reported a year ago.

The company also reported a Loss before tax of -N2.0 billion compared to a loss before tax of N8.3 billion in the corresponding period of 2019.

Revenue of Unilever Nigeria. inched up +1.3 percent to N61.57 billion from N60.75 billion in the previous year.

Net Assets of the soap and detergent manufacturer also declined by -2.4 percent to N64.93 billion from N66.52 billion recorded the same period of last year.

Shares of Unilever Nigeria at the close of Monday’s trading on the Nigerian Bourse depreciated -2.22 percent to N13.20 from N13.50 recorded the previous session; losing 0.30 kobo per share
