Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-UAC of Nigeria Plc (UACN) on Wednesday  reported a post-tax profit of N3.9 billion for the period ended December 31, 2020 compared to N9.2 billion loss recorded a year ago.

Pretax profit of the company declined -31.32 percent to N5.12 billion in 2020 from N7.45 billion posted in 2019 year end.

Gross earnings of UACN rose +2.72 percent to N81.35 from N79.20 billion declared the same period of 2019, the company said in a filing with the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).

UACN proposed a final dividend 0.65 kobo per share compared to dividend of 10 kobo paid the previous year.

The company says closure and Annual General Meeting (AGM) dates has been scheduled for June 15 and June 30, 2021 respectively, while payment date is scheduled for July 1, 2021.
