(Lagos INVESTADVOCATE)-Sugar refiner, Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc said on Friday its post-tax profit for the first quarter (Q1) period ended March 31, 2021 grew 30.3 percent to N8.30 billion from N6.37 billion recorded a year earlier.

In the same vein, profit before tax (PBT) grew 25.6 percent to N11.9 billion from N9.5 billion posted the same period of 2020.

Revenue of the company increased from N47.6 billion to N67.4 billion in 2021; indicating an increase of 41.5 percent, Dangote Sugar said in a filing with the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).
