Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Beer maker, Nigerian Breweries Plc on Tuesday said its profit after tax for the full year ended December 31, 2021 increased 71.99 percent to N12.6 billion from N7.4billion recorded a year earlier.
Pretax profit for the review period also grew 104.7 percent to N23.7 billion in 2022 from N11.6 billion in the same period of 2020
Revenue also grew by 29.74 percent from N337 billion to N437 billion posted the corresponding period of 2020. the brewing giant said in a filing with the Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX).
The company offered shareholders N1.20 kobo per share dividend and said qualification date has been scheduled for March 9, 2022 while closure date is March 10-March 16, 2022.
The brewing giant said Annual General Meeting (AGM) and payment dates for the dividend IS April 22, 2022 respectively.
