The NGXASI advanced by 0.25% today to close at 102,401.88pts, as investors buying interest on FBNH (+5.14%), DANGSUGAR (+3.31%) and PZ (+9.92%) drove the market into the positive territory.

In the Fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market closed flat, reflecting the tepid movement in yields across the curve, as Average T-Bills yield remained unchanged at 6.73%. However, the FGN Bond market closed down as the Average FGN Bond yield rose by 20bps to close at 13.79%.

At the NAFEM window, the Naira strengthened by 1.02% to close at NGN891.90/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) inched up by 0.02% to USD82.45pb.
