The NGXASI advanced by 0.02% today to close at 99,300.56pts, as the buy-interests observed in OANDO (+8.26%), FIDELITY (+3.03%%) and GTCO (+0.50%) drove the local bourse into the positive territory.

In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market was bullish at today’s close, as yields decreased across the short and mid tenors. Consequently, Average T-Bills yield declined by 14bps to close at 21.72%. Elsewhere, the FGN Bond market traded on a flattish note as the Average FGN Bond yield increased by 1bp to close at 18.69%.

At the NAFEM window, the Naira depreciated by 0.08% to close at NGN 1,485.99/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) declined by 0.26% to USD81.65pb.
