The NGXASI declined by 0.04% today to close at 100,020.83pts, as the losses observed ETRANZACT (-10.00%), FIDSON (-9.70%) and CORNEST (-9.52%) drove the local bourse into the negative terrain.
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a positive note, driven by the optimistic sentiment seen across all tenor instruments. Consequently, Average T-Bills yield decreased by 4bps to close at 22.03%. In line, the FGN Bond market traded on a positive note. As such, the Average FGN Bond yield declined by 1bps to close at 18.75%.
At the NAFEM window, the Naira depreciated by 0.25% to close at NGN1,508.99/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) advanced by 1.55% to USD86.32pb.
