The NGXASI advanced by 0.47% today to close at 100,503.21pts, as gains in UCAP (+9.92%), OANDO (+9.76%) and AIRTELAFRI (+4.76%) drove the domestic bourse into the green terrain.

In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market closed bearish, largely due to selloffs at the belly and long end of the curve. Consequently, Average T-Bills yield increased by 9bps to close at 23.53%. Likewise, the FGN Bond market traded on negative note as the Average FGN Bond yield inched up by 8bps to close at 19.37%.

At the NAFEM window, the Naira appreciated by 0.94% to close at NGN1,566.82/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) settled lower by 0.53% to USD84.63pb.
