The NGXASI declined by 0.14% today to close at 97,248.82pts as the losses printed on OANDO (-9.95%), SEPLAT (-1.26%) and NB (-4.52%) drove the local bourse into the negative terrain.
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a positive note due to buying interest observed across the benchmark curve. As such, Average T-Bills yield declined by 9bps to close at 25.47%. Similarly, the FGN Bond market traded on a positive note as the Average FGN Bond yield fell by 4bps to close at 19.93%.
At the NAFEM window, the Naira weakened by 0.25% to close at NGN1,586.04/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) contracted by 0.37% to USD80.39pb.
