The NGXASI advanced today by 0.32% to close at 97,025.15pts as investors buy interest in FBNH (+10.00%), NESTLE (+9.88%) and OANDO (+3.66%) drove the local equities market into the green zone.

In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market closed up as we observed bullish sentiment across the curve. Consequently, Average T-Bills yield fell by 5bps to close at 19.95%. Conversely, the FGN Bond market traded down as the Average FGN Bond yield increased by 6bps to close at 18.79%.

At the NAFEM window, the Naira weakened by 5.84% to close at NGN1,649.76/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) edged higher by 2.62% to USD72.46pb.
