NGXASI Gains +0.10% to Start Week, Buoyed by ACCESS, UBA, OANDO

The NGXASI advanced today by 0.10% to close at 98,558.79pts as investors buy interest in UBA (+9.90%), OANDO (+9.84%) and ACCESSCORP (+5.64%) drove the local bourse into the positive zone.

In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market closed on a flattish note, this was primarily driven by mixed sentiments observed across the curve. Consequently, Average T-Bills yield remained unchanged at 21.92%. Elsewhere, the FGN Bond market traded on a bearish note as the Average FGN Bond yield increased by 3bps to close at 18.77%.

At the NAFEM window, the Naira weakened by 0.08% to close at NGN1,541.94/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) declined by 0.07% to USD71.93pb.
