Sector Performances: Banking (+0.87%), Oil & Gas (+0.10%), Consumer Goods (+0.04%) and Industrial (-0.08%).

Market activity: In today’s trade, total volume increased by 31%, while total value decreased by 73% when compared to this time last trading day, as investors have traded about 97 million units of shares worth NGN2.10 billion. 

UBA (+1.77%) is the most traded stock by volume and value with about 20 million units of shares worth about N502 million accounting for 21% and 24% of the total volume and value. 

Likely close: In the absence of any substantial decline in the share prices of AIRTELAFRI, DANGCEM and MTNN, the market should close positive.
